Simple portraits are so 2018. It's 2019, and it's time you said hello to chic portraits. The Note 7 Pro's camera packs plenty of studio effects to enhance the overall look of your photos. You get a classic black and white sunshine effect or an Instagram-ready rainbow effect in seconds. All you have to do is focus smartly and press the shutter button.
To capture such beautiful photos, switch to portrait mode and tap the circular icon in the lower left corner. Select an effect from the ton of available effects, adjust the distance until you see a blue outline and click.
Note :Note that image processing takes a little time. Also, studio lighting only works with faces. You can even edit old portraits taken with this phone. Open said images via Gallery and tap the shutter icon.
You can either adjust the focus or go for a more elegant effect.
The 48 megapixel camera is one of the main features of the Redmi Note 7 Pro. With it, you can capture more details in your frames. There are two ways to activate it. In normal photo mode, go to Settings and tap the 48MP icon.
Another way is to open the Pro mode and tap on the 48MP icon in the top ribbon. Naturally, this would require you to know the other camera settings such as white balance and ISO, among others.
Just press the AI button at the top.
Similar to other members of its siblings, the Note 7 Pro's camera also has a few options that allow you to adjust the contrast levels as per your choice. When enabled, these settings add punch to the overall image.
To turn them on, go to camera settings and scroll down until you see Contrast. Choose High, and you're good to go. Similarly, you can also set saturation and sharpness levels.
Did you know :An image with high color contrast easily attracts attention than an image with normal or low contrast.Although Instagram's automated video splitter feature generally returns good results, however, the results are not up to par.
Most of the time, an unnatural break steals the thunder from the video. And thanks to our short attention span, we don't watch a video until the end. So why not upload shorter videos? If you're ready, it's time for you to use the Note 7 Pro's short video camera feature.
This one captures videos that are only 15 seconds long. The counter starts immediately when you press the shutter button. Short and to the point, that's the mantra.
Have you tried swiping up from the home button on your Note 7 Pro? If not, try it now. If I had to guess, I'd say you didn't like it.
Swiping up from the home screen opens the Mi Browser News Feed screen, and trust me, the experience is not a pleasant one at all. Unfortunately, there is no system in place to reset it or switch to another browser.
The only option, at the moment, is to replace the default system launcher with a third-party launcher.
If you are looking for something lightweight, you can try the Rootless Launcher. It almost replicates the sleek look of Google Pixel phones.

However, if you prefer to stay within the Xiaomi ecosystem, you can check out the POCO launcher on the Play Store.
It has varied customization options under its sleeves. So whether it's grouping apps by color or genre, you get almost everything here.

Typically, phones have a Settings shortcut at the top of the notification panel. Although it is very convenient, however, it is not used in daily use. Fortunately, you can now change the Settings shortcut to the Search shortcut.
So all you have to do is pull down the notification panel and hit the search icon. To turn it on, go to Notifications &status bar, tap the notification shade shortcut and select Search.
Note :This feature works even when you switch to another launcher.Another neat tweak you can make is summoning the Google Assistant with just the push of a button. This option is under Additional Settings and activates the Google Assistant when you press the power button for about 0.3 seconds. Nice, I would say.
For the power menu, press the power button a little longer.
To enable it, go to Settings> Additional settings> Button and gesture shortcuts, and toggle the switch for the last option.
Cool tip :You can also enable the three-finger screenshot gesture via the "Take screenshot" option. This one takes a screenshot when you swipe down on the screen with three fingers.Since the split-screen feature debuted with Android Nougat, it has been implemented in different ways by different phone makers. While some choose to hide it from the three-dot menu in the Recents menu, others choose to opt for a long press and hold technique.
With MIUI 10, Xiaomi has opted for a simple button approach. The button is visible when you activate the Presentation section. Just tap it and drag an app window onto it.
Cool tip: You can view RAM usage in the Overview section (aka Recents menu). To do this, go to Home screen &recents and enable Show memory status option. How to mute your incoming calls? I usually do this by pressing the volume button. But wouldn't it be nice if the phone lowers the volumes on its own when you lift it?
The Redmi Note 7 Pro lets you do this through its caller settings. You can enable it by opening the default Dialer app. Tap the little hamburger icon in the bottom left corner and select Incoming Call Settings.
Next, toggle the switch for the second option.
Worried about receiving notifications in the middle of your gaming session? Eliminate the problem in the bud by enabling DND mode under Game Speed Booster.
In addition to silencing the phone during your gaming sessions, Game Booster can improve your gaming experience by reducing background downloads, increasing CPU performance, and more.
Access Game Booster through the Security module.
Apart from the above, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro has a plethora of features that you can explore on your own. And while you're at it, don't forget to have a high resolution wallpaper on board.
