You don't need to upload them one by one because Instagram recently introduced the feature to upload multiple images to stories.
You would think it would be a boring text but you are wrong. Instagram provides a bunch of features for story text. It allows you to change color, font style and add shadows etc. While some features are apparent, others you won't touch until you know them.
So here we present you a bunch of tips, tricks and tricks related to Instagram story text.
Instagram offers five font styles:Typewriter, Strong, Classic, Modern, and Neon. Among these, you can change the font size of the classic type only. Yes, you can enlarge the text for each of them by pinching in and out, but sometimes you want to squeeze certain text into one line.
For example, if you want to add a website or an email id, you'll want it to be on one line. This is possible only with the help of the classic style, since you can manually change its size.
To do this, follow the steps:
Step 1: Go to Story Mode and tap the Text icon. Enter your text.
Step 2: Then tap on Font Style mode at the top and choose Classic. You will get a slider on the left side. Drag it up or down to increase or decrease the size.
If you want to align your text correctly, you can of course just hold the text and place it in a preferred position. But why not use the native alignment feature? Instagram offers alignment in Typewriter and Classic font styles. After selecting one of these font styles, tap the alignment icon in the upper left corner for left, right, and center alignment.
Not many people know that Instagram offers a full color wheel. If you don't like the given color scheme, you can always switch to the color wheel and choose a color of your choice.
To display the color wheel, follow the steps:
Step 1: In story mode, tap the text icon and type your text.
Step 2: You will see small colored circles at the bottom of the screen. Tap any color and you will get the color palette. Now move your finger on the palette and choose any color.
If you want to match the text with your image and you can't find the right color in the color palette, don't worry, you can use the color picker tool.
To do this, add the text to your story and tap on the color picker icon present to the right of all the colors. Then move this tool to the desired color and your text color will change automatically.
Normally, when you select a color for your text from the little colored circles at the bottom, it's applied to all of the text. What if you wanted each word to have a different color? Of course, you can add the words individually, but that will take a lot of time.
As an alternative, simply highlight the word (select the word) and press the color of your choice. Repeat this for all words.
Of the five font styles, you can only change the background color of three:Classic, Typewriter, and Strong. To do this, once you've added the text and used one of these font styles, tap the font mode icon in the top left corner. Then select a background color from the colors at the bottom.
To enhance your text and stories, you can add shadows to them. However, there is no native functionality to do so. But that shouldn't disappoint you because there is a neat trick to get the shadow effect.
Here are the steps:
Step 1: Open Story mode and enter your text. Then press the Done button.
Step 2: Now using the same font style, tap the Text icon and re-enter the same text but in a different color. Press the Done button again.
Step 3 :Drag this second text over the first and increase or decrease the size so that the overall text looks like the shadow has been added to it.
If Instagram's built-in fonts aren't enough for you, try different and unique fonts. You wonder how? All you have to do is go to the Cool Symbol website and enter your text on the Fancy text page. You'll see a preview of many new fonts on the site itself.
Hit the Copy button next to the font style you like. Then go to Instagram Story mode and in text mode, paste it. You can change its color, size, and other settings as you would normal text. Isn't that a cool hack?
Rainbow text simply means text where each letter has a different color. The color pattern, however, resembles that of a rainbow.
Here's how to add it.
Step 1: Open story mode and write your text.
Step 2: Select or highlight all text.
Step 3: Now, with the text selected, we need to open the color spectrum. To do this, hold any color from the bottom colors. Once the color palette is visible, don't lift your finger from the palette. While keeping your finger on the palette, place your second finger to the right of the highlighted word. Make sure it's highlighted.
Now with both fingers on the screen, slowly swipe them to the left side. You will see that this generates a gradient effect. To achieve a proper rainbow effect, start at the far right of the palette.
