With a stellar sound system, great display, and plenty of skills, the Amazon Echo Show can display news and other information as easily as it can read it to you. It's a little bigger than its other cousins, but on the bright side, you can watch all your favorite Prime shows without turning on your TV or laptop.

In today's post, we've listed some of the best things you can do with Amazon Echo Show.
Yes, you read that right. You can easily turn your Echo Show into a digital photo frame. This one works by pulling photos from your Facebook or Prime photos and playing them in a slideshow.
Just make sure to link your Amazon account to your Prime Photos or Facebook account.
To link the account, go to Settings in your Alexa app and select Settings> Photos and tap Link My Account.
Next, open your Echo Show's settings menu and go to Home screen> Background, then tap Facebook (or Amazon Prime) to select photo albums.
Now press the Home button and you will see a nice slideshow of your photos. Alternatively, you can say "Alexa, show me my photos" to command Echo Show to start a slideshow.
Note :Facebook album privacy must be set to Public or Friends for this feature to work.If you prefer a static image from your collection as your default wallpaper, Echo Show lets you do that. Again, you'll need help from the Alexa app.
Head to the app and tap Devices> Echo &Alexa and select Echo Show. Next, scroll down and select Home Wallpaper and upload an image of your choice.
The Echo Show bundles two browsers – Firefox and Silk. If you're more comfortable with Firefox, you can easily make it your default browser.
To do this, go to Device Options> Web Options> Browser and make your selection.
Having trouble waking up to the Alexa alarm in the morning?
If so, you might want to try the Echo Show's rising alarm feature. This setting allows your alarm to be louder so you'll have to get out of bed.
To turn it on, go to Settings> Sounds and enable the toggle for rising alarm. Simple, see.
The good thing about the Echo Show is that it is Bluetooth compatible. This means you can either stream music from a paired Bluetooth speaker (or headset) or pair your phone to it to stream music offline. The best of both worlds.
Open Settings> Bluetooth and tap on Pair. All devices will be displayed on the screen and all you have to do is press Pair.
Cool tip :To switch between devices, simply select a speaker from the Bluetooth menu.Keeping children safe on the internet is essential. However, with smart voice assistants, this can be a problematic scenario as you have to speak the query.
Fortunately, the Echo Show has a few parental control settings that allow you to block content or restrict access. On the one hand, you can disable voice search for videos or enable the Video SafeSearch option.
While the former is pretty self-explanatory, the latter filters the display of adult or mature content. All of these settings can be accessed via Settings> Restrict Access> Web Video Search.
The screen of your Echo Show is too bright? Simple, dim the brightness from the quick settings menu. At the same time, you can also enable adaptive brightness to adjust the brightness according to its surrounding environment.
To find the adaptive brightness setting, go to Settings> Display.
Also, if you want to turn off the screen overnight, just say. "Alexa, turn off the screen", and it will obey your command.
The Echo Show supports YouTube and Amazon Prime. You can launch the video of your choice via voice commands. In my opinion, playing videos directly on Amazon Prime is much easier than on YouTube because there are no duplicate videos.
For YouTube, what I usually do is open it through the Silk browser (Alexa, open YouTube) and then search for it, although that defeats the purpose of a voice assistant.
However, for extremely common terms like movie trailers, a simple voice command is enough.
“Alexa, play the Avengers Endgame trailer. »
Did you know :You can increase the volume by saying "Alexa, volume up to 7, or 8 or 9".For people like me who like repeating questions and queries, follow mode is one of the ideal settings. As you may have deduced, this setting allows you to repeat follow-up questions without saying the wake-up word.
When activated, the Echo Show's blue light stays on for a few more seconds so you know the lady is active and listening to your commands.
To turn it on, open the Alexa app on your phone and go to Device. Select Echo Show from the list, tap Tracking, and toggle the switch on.
Yes, you read that right. Your Echo Show now allows you to schedule DND schedules. So if you don't want to be notified about new skills or if you want to block calls and messages for a specific time, it lets you do that.
To enable DND, go to DND settings, toggle the switch to Scheduled, and enter the start time and end time.
Pro Tip :If you are not comfortable with the camera, turn it off in Settings> Device. Finally, be sure to check out Alexa-enabled smart home gadgets like the Yeelight Smart LED Bulb to use the device in the best possible way. At the same time, set up a music player of your choice (Settings> Music in the Alexa app) to play your favorite songs seamlessly.
