We've been using the Samsung Galaxy S20 since it arrived in our office a few days ago, and we're amazed at the camera's capabilities.
So in this article, we have compiled the best Samsung Galaxy S20 and S20+ camera tips and tricks to help you get the most out of this phone.

One-shot is probably one of the best features of Galaxy S20 series smartphones. This nifty mode is a hybrid of Motion Photos, but with a significant difference.
To capture single takes, activate the mode and press the record button. Once done, you will be able to see the result when you swipe up.
So what's the crux of this mode?
Instead of recording a single 3-second clip, Single Take records videos between 3 and 10 seconds using all of your phone's rear camera lenses.
Once done, the phone's AI splits the video into crisp stills and short video clips. Therefore, from cool boomerangs to wide-angle shots and black-and-white stills, you get a lot in one go. Yes, you read that right.
You can choose the best of the snapshots captured, or keep them all – the choice is yours. And the best thing is that this mode works wonderfully in both cameras.
And the best part is that the phone automatically groups these photos together, thanks to the built-in AI. All you have to do is tap on the tagged photos (marked with a small white circle) and you will be able to see all related photos.
Wide angle shooter makes a lot of things look great. Just point your camera at a wide view, switch to wide angle mode (0.5x zoom) and you'll soon see the magic. However, this is not the only novelty possible with Galaxy S20 phones.
Now you can easily zoom in on your subjects.
Once you press the different modes, the phone will offer you several new zoom options such as 3x, 5x, 10x, etc. The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G goes one step further and lets you try crazy Space Zoom mode.
All you have to do is make sure that your hands don't shake much when using Space Zoom mode.
However, if you're not a fan of the new options, you can switch to the old pinch and pinch method. When you do this you will see a small counter at the edge of the screen. Once it appears, swipe over it to get the photo you want.
The S20 Ultra comes with a 108-megapixel camera while the lesser variants have a 64-megapixel sensor on the rear camera module. And it goes without saying that these lenses capture impressive detail. However, in its native setting, the phone can only take 12-megapixel photos.
Although you can choose to use 64 megapixel (or 108 megapixel) mode, this option seems to be hidden.
To activate, click on the Appearance icon Ratio at the top and select 64MP from the list.
The Galaxy S20 and S20+ do not have a wide-angle camera on the front. Luckily, it compensates with its wide selfie mode, which saves you and your friends from getting cropped. With the Galaxy S20 series, the fun doesn't stop there.
This time the company has bundled a selfie angle intelligent, which automatically switches the front camera to wide selfie mode when it detects two or more faces in the frames.

One of the best features of the Samsung Galaxy S20 series is the Super Steady mode. As the name suggests, it allows you to shoot really stable videos.
All of this is made possible by the built-in anti-roll functions (up to 60 degrees) and AI motion analysis. So the anti-roll motion analysis and AI will work together whenever you capture video while running or from a car. And the good news is that it doesn't crop the edges.
We tried this mode, and it's amazing.
To activate it, just tap the hand icon at the top.
The only catch is that the Super mode Steady is only limited to 1080p.
Other than that, your new phone is capable of recording impressive 8K videos. If you can afford to watch 8K video, it makes sense to enable it while recording.
To do this, go to Settings, tap Size rear video under Videos and choose 16:9 (8K) from the list.
Samsung phones have had the ability to create GIFs for quite some time. Keep pressing the shutter button for a little while and you'll have a nice little GIF in no time.
With the new S20 and S20+, the difference is in the execution. Now, instead of pressing the shutter button, you just need to drag it to the edge of the screen. Cool, right?

Yes, you read that right! You can create custom color filter on Galaxy S20 series. So if you like the color profile of a particular photo, you can have that as a base for your next photos.
To create a filter, click the Filters icon in the upper right corner and select My Filters from the list. Tap the More icon and select the base image of your choice.
Once done, simply click on a new image and you will soon see the magic.
AR doodles are fun and gold for Instagram users, all thanks to cool and responsive doodles. Hidden under More> AR Area> Doodles, they give a fun touch to photos and videos.
And the best part is that they work both on the rear camera and on the front camera.
