As expected, Apple's 'Unleashed' event brought a number of new additions to the Apple lineup, including a pair of new laptops in the form of new versions of the MacBook Pro 14s and 16 inches, as well as a third generation of AirPods. .
Both versions of the 2021 MacBook Pro are configurable with the newly announced M1 Pro and M1 Max processors, which build heavily on improvements made by the M1 processor that debuted last year . Along with the beefier processor, new versions of the MacBook Pro have improved GPU performance, battery life, and a slew of new connectivity options, including a trio of Thunderbolt 4 ports, an HDMI output, and a drive. SD card slot plus a MagSafe 3 connector.
The 16-inch model starts at $2,499, and the 14-inch model starts at $1,999. We haven't had a chance to put them to the test, but if you want to pre-order any of the upcoming models before our full review, both are available from today on the Apple Store. and will start shipping next week. Keep in mind, however, that availability appears to be limited for some configurations, with some models expected to ship until early December.
