It's cool to see so many innovations in the smartphone industry. The battle has really shifted from "My phone has more power than yours" to "My phone has cooler features than yours". Swinging its own punches is Samsung, with its unique offering – the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge and S6 edge+.

Give your S6 edge+ a makeover Falling off the edge?Although I wasn't totally sold on the idea of having curved screens adding additional functionality, it was undeniably a simple fact. These phones really looked sexy. And whether you see yourself using the edges to check the weather or notifications, it's certainly a cool feature that no other manufacturer has so far "been inspired by".
Here are some tips that should come in handy for anyone buying an S6 edge+.
We've already covered the People Edge feature when talking about the S6 edge, but with the S6 edge+ you also get an Apps Edge. This feature essentially adds another layer on the People Edge screen accessible by similarly swiping around the edges. You can set your favorite apps to display here, but unlike People Edge where you can take action for things like a missed call, there's not much you can do for apps. Also, they are not available when the phone is locked.
If you want to rearrange them, just drag and drop from top to bottom. Also drag the settings key to move the pointer to the edge screen, from where you can pull up People and Apps Edge. I found it worked best when positioned in the center, as the S6+ edge is significantly larger than the S6 edge.
This feature is available in the device's default music player. You can access it by pressing MORE either from the current playlist or from the song, then pressing SoundAlive . Once you've done that, tap on Sound quality and effects to access really useful things. Here you will see 3 different options that are available when you plug in headphones and the best 2 i.e. Upscaler UHQ and SoundAlive+ are awesome.
the Pro Tube Amp made the sound a bit muddy, but you can try all sorts of permutations and combinations to see what sounds best with your pair of headphones/headphones.
Personally, I found myself sticking with the first 2 options all the time. For every genre of music.
Go to Settings then press More connection settings to access a hidden option that requires your attention. There is a Download Amplifier hidden here which is disabled by default, but when enabled can increase the speed at which you can download attachments and files over a data connection.
In my testing this has proven to be very practical and something that will appeal to road warriors who are always on the move and keep working.
Data too expensive? So here are a few tips you should find helpful in keeping costs down.
With the addition of a theme store, Samsung finally gives users the ability to customize the look of their Galaxy devices without using third-party apps. Long press anywhere on the home screen to reveal Themes icon at the bottom and once you tap it, you can browse and choose the theme you like.
I have personally used and liked the Material and Dark Material theme. If you find yourself looking for apps with dark themes yourself, then the Dark Material theme is the one you should jump on.
