Nintendo is hosting one of its Direct streams later today, September 23, where it will showcase Switch games launching this winter. However, that doesn't mean there won't be news about games coming out later in 2022. It's also possible that Nintendo will show off the mysterious device that recently appeared in FCC filings. We think it's a controller, but given that the company makes so many weird devices, ranging from the Ring-Shaped Adventure exercise ring to modern Labo and Game &Watch handhelds, who knows what awaits you?
Parts of the presentation will likely focus on what's to come in the immediate future, which for Nintendo includes its new Switch console featuring an OLED display, as well Metroid Terror . Both will launch on October 8, 2021.
As usual, we'll give you the details to help you tune in to the latest Nintendo Direct when it goes live.
It's happening later today, September 23rd, starting at 6pm ET / 3pm PT. Nintendo says the presentation will last "approximately 40 minutes".
